Without much ado!

Hi everyone!

A very good afternoon to you all. Just had my lunch, sitting in the cubicle, could not find any interesting work other than writing something about my recent pondicherry trip. So, here I go! Well, before writing anything, let me tell you :), please do not curse me if the blog won't come good as this is my first formal blog other than those crap ones I wrote using a different account :).

It was last Friday, a holiday for X'mas celebration. We 2 college mates, Pallav, me; Pallav's big brother and his friend joined together to kickoff our much awaited trip. We planned about it a few days back when Pallav had bought a Fiat Palio the previous weekend :). Therefore, just after finishing my work on Thursday evening, I left office heading to his flat in Koromangla, bought few essential things, ate food, fell asleep in his flat itself. Plan was simple, first wake up in at 3:30am in the morning and then we would see!! :). SNORRRRR.....snorrrr....

Cockcrow

Believe it or not, I got up at 4. Though I was the last one to wake up, I felt very happy not to be the sole reason of getting late :). Anyways, Pallav, Pranab and me started exactly at 5 am. Hemant's flat lies on the way, so, we picked him up. Meanwhile, everyone took out money from ATM. Music of phantom planet started in the car music system, dizziness!! Pranabda took the pilot seat along with Hemant in the cockpit. Me and Pallav took the back ones.

We took the below route:

Bangalore - Hosur - Krishnagiri - Tiruvannamalai - Gingee - Pondicherry

The road till Krishnagiri is damn good! After crossing that, some patches are prominent, and the road itself is a bit narrow. So, without pelting along, we flied in a low speed of around 50-60 kmph.

The Halts on the way!

Our first stop was at Ayappa temple, a very big one. We did not go inside, of course for time saving! See the photographs for a better understanding how big it is! It is very tall, quite long as well.

Next comes the "GINGEE fort". It is one of the best sculpting I have ever seen in my life. The fort is made of all stones, situated on a hill.

We resumed sailing!
